Keeps the Record.

Mission-Ready Freeze Protection.

Veteran-led. Field-proven. Built for facilities that can’t afford to go down. Since 2019, Patriot has protected industrial plants across 20+ states — and documented every circuit it touched, so no plant ever pays to re-discover a repair.

01Why Patriot Exists

Winter Always Collects.
Somebody Has to Hold the Line.

If you run an industrial plant, you already know the pattern. The freeze event arrives on the coldest night of the year. The vendor who installed the heat trace is three owners gone. The one person who knew which circuits mattered retired last spring. And every contractor who walks the system somehow finds exactly the products they happen to sell.

Patriot was founded to be the other kind of contractor. We walk your system and tell you what’s actually there — because we don’t have a cable brand to sell, the read you get is your system’s real condition, not a quote in disguise. We do the work with our own crew, end to end. And we write everything down, circuit by circuit, so the knowledge stops walking out the door.

That’s the whole company in three habits: a straight read, one accountable crew, and a permanent record.

FIELD NOTE · WHY THE RECORD MATTERS

We’ve walked into plants where the only person who knew what was repaired — and where, and why — retired the year before. Every hour that follows is spent re-discovering work somebody already paid for. Once Patriot documents your system, that never happens again. The record survives crew changes, vendor changes, and ownership changes. That’s the point of it.

02The Founding

Our History, the Way We’d
Draw It: a Revision Block.

Every as-built drawing we deliver carries a revision table — the dated record of how the thing was actually built. A company that keeps the record for 65+ plants should be able to show its own.

TABLE AB-01 · COMPANY REVISION HISTORY · FORMAT: AS-BUILT TITLE BLOCK

Patriot Thermal Controls is a veteran-led, family-owned company. The founding team carries more than thirty years of combined field experience in industrial heat trace and electrical work — experience earned inside operating plants, on night shifts and outage windows, long before the company had a name.

That history is why the company works the way it does. People who have held the line in a plant in January don’t sell winterization as a brochure item — they build it like their name is on it. Because it is.

03The Doctrine

Standing Rules.
Same as Any Drawing Set.

A drawing set opens with General Notes — the rules that apply to every sheet, no exceptions. These are ours. They apply to every job, every crew, every plant.

GENERAL NOTES — APPLY TO ALL WORK, ALL SHEETS
NOTE 1.

Veteran-Led Discipline

The company is led the way its founders were trained: plan the work, brief the crew, execute to standard, document the result. Discipline isn’t a slogan here — it’s the operating system.

VETERAN-LED · FAMILY-OWNED · EST. 2019
NOTE 2.

No Cable Brand to Sell

Patriot is vendor-neutral. We install and service every major heat-trace manufacturer’s product — which means the read you get on your system is its real condition, never a product pitch wearing a hard hat.

NOTE 3.

One Accountable Crew

The same team that assesses your system installs the fix and stands behind it. Electrical, heat trace, insulation, coatings — self-performed. No second vendor to coordinate, and no one to point fingers at come January.

NOTE 4.

The Record Is Part of the Work

Every circuit we touch enters a permanent, circuit-level record — test values, repairs, as-builts. Once your system is documented, you never pay to re-discover a repair. The knowledge stays with the plant, not in someone’s head.

NOTE 5.

The Walkdown Comes Free

The first look at your system costs nothing and obligates you to nothing — a straight, vendor-neutral walkdown. If it isn’t worth your time, we’ll say so. A walkdown that ends with “you’re in good shape” is a good walkdown.

The People Behind
the Record.

A working crew, not an org chart — electricians, insulators, designers, and a dedicated safety officer, led from the field.

John Caruso President & Owner

John leads Patriot from the field, not from a desk — he still walks systems, still counts the fittings, and still holds every job to the standard the company was founded on. Under his leadership, Patriot has grown from a handful of Northeast plants to a fleet of 65+ facilities under protection, without ever outsourcing the work that carries his family’s name.

IBEW-affiliated electricians and heat-trace technicians — the hands that install, test, and repair, inside outage windows and operating plants.

Zero Recordables.
On Purpose.

195,000+ safe work hours without a recordable incident isn’t luck — it’s a program: daily job hazard analyses, a dedicated safety officer, and the same brief-execute-debrief discipline the founders brought from their service. The prequalification databases your site already uses can verify every line of it.
